They make everything (everything being awesome shirts) by hand out of San Francisco, California. Oh, and Cary Lane, the man behind the Cary Lascala label, is also kind of a famous drummer.

Donn Mason treats gentlemen’s underwear as if it were the most important part of the male wardrobe. Established as a reaction to the stale, unchanging world of men’s underwear, they’ve been making the softest, best-fitting boxers and briefs there are out of their signature Modal/Cotton/Spandex blend. Finding inspiration in the styles of the early 1900s, Donn Mason pays homage to the nearly-antiquated concept of a man’s appearance and comfort being essential to his confidence. Their stuff is dapper, but with modern twists like unexpected prints and flat-felled seams, and they make it all out of Los Angeles, California.

Brothers Joe and Lawrence Gilligan founded Akadema in 1997 after realizing that there had been little to no innovation in baseball gloves for decades. And when it came to improving upon the classic that is the baseball glove, Akadema consulted the people who knew the most about gloves: athletes themselves. Collaborating with baseball legends like Gary Carter and Ozzie Smith, Akadema set out to create a series of innovative gloves that improved player’s performance. Shortly after they diversified, manufacturing performance-enhancing bats, footwear and apparel that’s helped countless athletes bring their “A” game to the baseball field. They live in Hawthorne, New Jersey.
