USA Today published some comments from Facebook and Twitter about buying and selling Made-in-USA products to create jobs in America.
Here are a few of the comments:
“It should be the most important consideration. When we buy from other countries, we put ourselves out of work.” — @blaine1957
"There are plenty of inexpensive products being made by American workers. The challenge for American consumerism is getting people to shop quality, not quantity. Buy only what you need.” —Stacia Petri
"I evolved to selling almost solely American-made products after I dealt with imported products reeking with odors, customers who complained about allergic responses, cheap woods and materials, and bad workmanship. I got tired of apologizing. Tax the imports to level the field, but I love the great stuff we produce. —Margaret McHenry
"To me, anything I buy American is a vote for my fellow countrymen." —Dan Nichols
